There is something about scalloped details that instantly adds charm to a space—playful yet polished, whimsical yet refined. This sweet design trend has been rising in popularity in recent years, and it is not just for kids.
From curved mirrors to statement furniture, rugs, lighting and even fashion—scallops are appearing on everything you can imagine. Whether prominent or subtle, a scalloped edge can make a something plain instantly feel thoughtful and intentional.
I have a soft spot for this design detail and have used it in our daughter's room, our bedroom and closet, and backyard to name a few. It helps to keep the feminine flair they add without feeling over the top cutesy.
Today I have rounded up some of my favorite designer-approved scalloped finds that you can use to incorporate this classic design trend in your home.
